Before I get around to posting about my Tuesday off, I need to have after-Valentines day post.  I had, quite frankly, the best valentines surprise I have ever received.  We had a nice full day out on the water running REMUS missions off of the Maggie Joe.  Beautiful day, nice weather, somewhat calm seas.  Spent most of the early evening boozing with the crew and the other research group at the bar about 200 yards from the dock.  Yeah, we didn't make it too far.  Anyways, Amy and myself didn't get back to our condo until 9 ish at night.  As Amy went in, she, somewhat exasperated, exclaimed that someone got some V-day flowers.  Upon further inspection, there was an tropical basket of very yummy looking fruit.  There was a card attached that proclaimed: "I love you more than Frank Rich loves Obama.  You know who."
